Kailah Figueroa is a rhetorical engineer, memory archivist, and part-time prose stylist. She earned her BA in Creative Writing from Susquehanna University and is a current Poetry MFA candidate at Rutgers-Newark. Her writing has appeared in Torch Literary Arts, Lolwe, and others. She is a Pushcart Prize nominee and in 2021, she was a recipient of the Fulbright Summer Institute Fellowship at the University of Bristol for Arts, Activism, and Social Justice.
