whatever mistakes we made
What happens if I breathe / in from here?
I indulge in bitterness / But sweeten it with song
Night so good when left alone
When faced with disaster, / our brains turn first to anything else
The question, I said, is not how to salvage the past, but how to destroy it ethically.
What do you call a secret you keep mostly from yourself?
I didn’t know where / to put my faith
a tiny glacier calved / into my brain’s dark sea
skin in the morning / bone by nightfall
